HKUST ShoeCAD System
A set of API's programmed and integrated with CATIA to facilitate the Design of Ladies Shoes, including collaboration tools for manufacturing. IP: owned by HKUST and Effect Group
  
Sole CAM
HKUST SoleCAD/CAM
A software add-on to SolidWorks to rapidly design and fabricate shoe outsoles for prototype development. The CAM sub-system automatically generates CNC cutter paths for sole mould halves.

Bacteria Colony Counter
This is a standalone system integrating hardware and an image processing software package to count colonies of bacteria on a standard size Petri-dish plate used in biology and biochemistry labs.

NC Editor
Software with GUI to write and graphically display Gerber machine control code (RS274D)
  

Facilities Layout planner
This software is useful for teaching facilities layout. Implements BLOCPLAN and LOGIC. The GUI is simple and intuitive; optimization uses simulated annealing. Provides user-defined layout modification.
