[4 May 2018] Final will be open booked. 90% of the scope is Ch4 (PLCs), CH5 (motors), Ch6 (ADC, DAC and Microprocessor) and Lab 6,7,8 and 9. The remaining 10% will cover the whole course.

[26 April 2018] Instructions to Lab10 (Exercise on RFID) and Class and lab participation have been updated. Lab10 is exercise, you will build your own RFID system, First to many of you! it will not be counted towards lab grades but it will be fun and can earn lab participation marks. Pls come.

[14 April 2018] For those who have signed up, the site visit to the Super-terminal One (Air Cargo Terminal) is scheduled on Thu 19th April pm. We are gathering at Tung Chung MTR Station outside Exit B at 3pm. It takes 1hr and 15min to go from HKUST to Tung CHung. Please do NOT be late!

[9 April 2018] Midterm is scheduled on Thu 12 April 3pm at Rm4472 and Rm4475. As explained in the lecture, the scope of the midterm will include Chapter 1, 2, 3 and 4 (exclude timers and counters) as well as lab1, 2, 3, 4 and 5.
