Professor Jin Qi, Assistant Professor of IEDA, was selected as one of the finalists of the 2021 Manufacturing & Service Operations Management (MSOM) Best Operations Management (OM) Paper in Operations Research. The awarded paper “Preservation of Supermodularity in Parametric Optimization: Necessary and Sufficient Conditions on Constraint Structures” was co-written with Professor Xin Chen, Professor of Department of Industrial and Enterprise Systems Engineering at University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and Professor Daniel Zhuoyu Long, Associate Professor of Department of Systems Engineering & Engineering Management at The Chinese University of Hong Kong, and was published in Operations Research (Volume 69) in 2021.
